2023, what a year!

Our ‘Kids For Christ’ Sunday School had celebrated the end of the Sunday School Year last weekend. The kids spent some time at Papatoetoe East Primary School playing games, enjoying food, and laughter, but most importantly – the water fight.

It has been a very successful year for our Sunday School. As mentioned on Sunday, this is the first year where the Sunday School Teachers were able to consistently teach, without any restrictions or lockdowns. From the beginning of the year till now, the Children have learnt more about stories within the Bible every Sunday and the hope that we hold onto is that the kids will continue to enjoy learning and growing in their knowledge of who God is for them, individually.

The congregation wanted to say a big thank you to the Sunday School Teachers for the time and effort they have put in to teaching our Sunday School the importance of who God is in their lives. We have enjoyed watching the journey you have taken the kids on and have appreciated hearing their stories through the Children’s Sunday play this year. So to Cecilia, Senita, and Keri – thank you so so much for all your hard mahi!

As the Sunday School farewell 2023, we wanted to acknowledge the uplifted prayers for our children and ask that you continue to pray for their safety, and good health as they head into the holiday season.

God bless you, Sunday School!
