Cambodian Sunday School

Matthew 19:14

Jesus said “Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”

St Martin’s Presbyterian Church has a Cambodian community service every Sunday at 2pm with a Sunday School class of children ages 3 – 16 years old, total 17 kids. The lessons taught are the same as our main service Sunday School, Kids for Christ (KFC).

The Cambodian Sunday School class loves to engage in Bible Quiz challenges which helps them learn about discovering who is in the Bible but broaden their knowledge on who God is. We try to encourage celebrating birthdays once a month and buy a cake to celebrate who our children are. We are currently learning about the 10 Commandments and it is good the connection and lessons ties together with our St Martin’s Sunday School.

The Cambodian children and their families are very quiet but observant, and eager and hungry to learn more about God’s love.
