On Friday the 26th of July, the Praise and Worship, and Media Team went on their annual retreat.
What an amazing time for us to reset, recharge, and reenergise for the rest of the year ahead.
Each night and day we spent on our retreat, we listened to a word of devotion, we read and reflected on scripture, and we sang praises to God for His goodness to us. Through our reflections as a group, we all individually took away learnings that were specific to the roles that we play in church each Sunday. Going away on our retreat encourages us to reflect on our purpose of worship but also helps us understand the importance of our roles within the church. No one role is more important than the other. However, we all know that our main purpose for serving and worship, is to give all praise and honour back to God.
We wanted to thank our church family for your thoughts and prayers while we were away.
We pray that as we journey through the second half of this year, that we are all encouraged by the Holy Spirit to continue giving God the best version of ourselves.
